looking at buying a technomate TM-7755 2VA 2CI
can any one advise me .?
will it work ok in the north with a 90 cm mesh dish .? what sort of lnb do i need ?.:-worship

Technomate 5402 HD M2 Ci, DM7000s, Transparent 80cm Dish, Moteck SG2100 DiseqC motor, lots of legacy gear. Meters: Satlook Digital NIT, Promax HD Ranger+ spectrum analyser.

A 90cm dish should pull in quite a bit, are you going to motorise it? Any Universal LNB will do, but if you get one with a low noise figure, it should perform better. :)

you maybe better off with the technomate 1500 if your going to be patching the receiver

otherwise will be a very good receiver

just adding a diseqc 1.2/usals motor that works off the power from the receiver as one cable is used going from lnb to motor then motor to receiver

or using a polar mount and 36volt actuator + vbox to convert the signals to diseqc 1.2 and back

Would buy as Wod suggested, Bought a TM 8000 CI MC 2 years ago, still lying under the bed. Problem with ch list on it that Tecnomate CANT fix with any software upgrade.
