Could somebody tell me what I can pull in off an 80cm solid and one of these boxes that has been patched?

I know d+ can be picked up. What about TPS and Premiere?

Yes, all periodically, you will need to keep updating the patch as things change.

I'm hopefully getting a tm 1000d tomorrow.

Are there any step by step guides on how to patch them? I have a null modem cable etc.

There are many guides on how to patch them on the Alsat web-site, along with the patches etc, etc.
