technomate tuners 1500ci+ and 1000d super

right the super arived today and not impresed with the tuner on it for example on the 1500ci+ i get 93% signel on tp and only 82% on the 1000superand on another tp its the other way round 48% on 1500cI and 67% on 1000 super but still get blocking picture so why give me good reading of 67% also when move motor with the super the signel dont change as often as the 1500ci+ so hard to judge where best signel is i wouldnt advice setting dish up with the 1000 super as the signel readings are well out compared to 1500

plus i found blind searh faster on the 4200 model i have read somewhere that the super is supose to be faster blind searh then the 4200

I found this myself. The blind search on a 4200 is faster than the super series.

that is a load of rubbish...the super tuners are much faster than the 4200, ive tried them both, you are doing something wrong

and with regards to different signal strength, the super model has a different tuner due to the blind search

I suppose I can't really give an accurate reading as both my 4200 and 1500 super are faulty.
