As metioned many times in this thread , CCcam doesn't 'Not Work' with an omnikey, it simply doesn't support the use of it. All omnikey readers use the PCSC protocol, CCcam does not !

hello to all.
i wanted to find out some information.
are you able to use a sky uk card on a non sky box somehow?
if the power goes out will this box reset it self last channel it was on?
if for example if i set this up on the itv frequency that is not on astra 2 d
on 11.402 v itv package, and the power goes out this box will come on to the last signal it was on or will this go to stand by.
last how offen do you have to upgrade the softwhere????

You can now use sly UK new white card caid 0963 directly in the Dreambox using CCcam 2.1.3. It is safe to use the internal card reader and the card updates properly. There is however, no way of knowing what changes may lie ahead.
A dreambox will return to its last channel upon reboot, and will reboot after a power failure.
You should never need to update the software unless sly make changes to the new card system.

First I will let you know that the ccamd is working on my 7000 after a little work trying to get mgcamd to work but failed, my 7025 has failed again so its going to Germany for repair.

In the interim I need some advice on cccamd cfg placement and your creator program.

1. I could not find the ccamd.cfg file after install, so copied over one from another and modified it with my box number but cannot get sly to open on films + sport, I think it is in the wrong place so can you tell me the correct place to put it.

2.Your config creator program does not talk to my dream 7000 possibly from an error in the lan setup or as we discussed earlier the program was designed for later models
However, I need to know if this write over or replace the existing / original cfg file that is there, can you tell me where does the program look for the file

I await your reply, I have looked in the pages ref; the sly card.

Got my card on Friday, have loaded the latest version of cccam and newcs on my DM600 (Pli Jade Green image).

The sharing is working fine, but for some reason I can not open my local one, it is using a share.

Also on the newcs config do we still have to setup the au as off and the ones below as

<blockua>yes</blockua>
<blockga>yes</blockga>
<blockc0>yes</blockc0>
I can connect to the newcs web interface and my entitlements have updated as I had put the card in the sly box first.

chrisfound, CCcams config file is called CCcam.cfg it is located in /var/etc in enigma 1 boxes and in /etc on Enigma 2 boxes.
Dreambox Config Creator will connect to any FTP server that you specify. If it does not connect it has nothing to do with the Dreambox model.
Does it show an error at all ?
Are you using the latest version 0.9.0 ?
If so, you can see what the config file looks like in the output window before you actually create the file, so you'll know what your boxkey line should look like.
