Well done again the beeb:)

It seems viewers are in love with period dramas, with the likes of Call the Midwife, Downton Abbey and Mr Selfridge proving hugely popular. The BBC continues its Midwife trend but goes further back in time with this medical drama that follows the brave doctors, nurses and volunteer women working in First World War France, patching up soldiers wounded in the trenches. Suranne Jones stars as new arrival Sister Joan Livesey, a suffragist whose modern approach to the tented hospital does not go down too well with the old guard, while Oona Chaplin (Game of Thrones) as volunteer Kitty Trevelyan, soon realises no amount of training could have prepared her for the reality of working near the frontline.

Last episode.

Followed the whole series, slow moving period drama not up to the beebs usual standards like " call the midwife " and others.

Verdict,,,,, not impressed :(

Just my opinion.

A little less analogue, and a lot more crap.
