I've been recently listening to some American radio stations ever since I went broadband, and I caught one this morning - can't remember its name.

But there was a documentary on about the tragic loss of music legend Buddy Holly.

Please don't forget this man wrote some brilliant songs, even before he was 20. Classics. Great melodies and lyrics. Brilliant stuff. This man was 22 when he died, tragically. But the songbook said it all.

The mind boggles as to how the music world would had differed if he had lived. The songs he would have written, maybe even entered acting. Along with others like him like Eddie Cochran, himself only 21 when he died, the music industry could or would have been massively altered.

The mind does boggle, though...

I agree Saturlight, I am old enough to remember many of his songs thought the great man had already passed. His legend lives on.
