I'm not quite sure how they got accurate numbers for the weekly downloads.

Well I myself happened upon the first four episodes freely available, but have to say that Grand Tour is carp.

A pale shadow of the old Top Gear, despite being produced at massive cost.

Shan't be watching again.

OTOH, the new Top Gear, without the Ginger Gerbil, holds much promise: The first Series was actually quite good, in terms of content, despite one of the Presenters being repellent, IMHO.

I quite like The Grand Tour, it's basically what Top Gear was before "the incident", couldn't stand the ginger gear show as it was just the BBC trying to make as much money out of that sinking ship before TGT well and truly sank the derelict ship that was HMS Top Gear, but that aside, it's hardly surprising that it's being downloaded illegally, it shows how popular Clarkson, Hammond and May are, and of course there's parts of the world that can't presently get TGT on Amazon due to licensing restrictions (will apparently be sorted in January) so the only way to get it is, downloading...

The only part I don't like about TGT is the merkin, would prefer one of the ex-Stigs in his place, cos at least a Stig's opinion is more interesting...

Watched a couple,a few laughs, will watch more,wouldn't pay to watch though.
