First: If you wanna really vote, you have to mention at least all the groups we know from the past till know not causing limits for the voters.

Then: My idea is to add their greatest masterpieces too.
Then we can say that we've done a great job.
Because there are lots of groups I'd like to vote but I can't find their name on the list.

How many times do I have to say it arbi, if you want to vote for a band which isn't in the list, then say which one it is and it will be added, but only if you haven't already voted.

I will state again, this isn't supposed to be the definitive list of all rock bands past and present and it would be ridiculous to try and compile a list of choices with all bands, it is a poll for the greatest and best rock band in the world, so will be very subjective.

I give up, you very obviously didn't read the first post in the thread and the paragraph written in red.

If your favourite band isn't here, don't vote, ask for it to be included. This isn't a definitive list of bands, so unless you would vote for them as your best, don't ask us to include them

It is not and let me repeat this, NOT a definitive list of rock bands, if any member wants a single band included because they want to vote for it, then we will include it. Do not ask for us to include a band because you think someone else might want to vote for it and we are not going to enter lists of potential bands, as the poll options would become ridiculous.

If you ask a person who they think is the best and greatest Rock band in the world, they will not need to look through a list, they will normally be able to give an almost immediate answer.

PS. Don't tell me to chill down, it irritates me. ;)

When are we going to cut to the chase - and vote for Queen or Pink Floyd in a final.

At least we won't have anymore lists submitted.

Then we could have a 'Worst Rock Group' Poll with a predetermined list.

I agree with Barmoo, as I typed once in this forum or thread the 50 bands of all time from The Guitarist Mag. July 2002. There's no need to write milions of band and ask people to vote for those ***** bands. Each one could vote for his/her favorite band, then the result, the votes will be gathering togheter and finally the result will be what we are looking for!!?
