I can't see the conversion from metres to good old imperial stuff either. How is any respectable alien lifeforce going to know the amount of fuel required to make the trip over ?

Most races now use a blink drive, all you need for power with that type of drive is a rubber glove and a furry animal. (or other type of furry being or object)
