BBC World has achieved the highest viewing figures of any single TV channel, worldwide.

It's revenue from ads and sponsors has far exceeded its forecast.

Many subsciption bouquets / channels are paying very close attention to these stats. Including the likes of Vivendi of France :-Cbigsmil

Interesting, I guess it has a slight head start, in that it is probably the most widely transmitted, but even so, that is impressive.

Once the barriers come down, Free To Air has got to be a big money spinner, providing the content is right.
