There's an adage: "don't fook with the (hollywood) studios".
Since the bbc's move to become FTA, the studios have clearly done some research (probably from looking at sites like this ) and noticed that the BBC can be seen well outside this supposed UK and Ireland footprint (which, if anyone has noticed, is only ever said by those who know that the footprint is about four times bigger).
Anyway, what has happened? Read this - it'll make ya larf:
