I've been trying to find a European seller for either Thomson Saginaw or Venture actuators. Anyone know if such a source exists?

TIA

A little less analogue, and a lot more crap.

The distributor for Thomson Saginaw is down in the South West of the UK

I will try to get the number in the next day or so, be prepared to get a price shock though when they quote.

Many thanks.

I was quoted $330 for 36" TS + $360 delivery from the US, so anything under that is good!

Thats about the going rate when you convert to UK sterling from the UK importer (Im sure they were in Yeovil)

Cant find anything on paper here, but try this group, its a long time since I bought TS actuators so they may have shut shop over here.

Why are you not considering a Korean/Asian actuator ? The quality may not be the same, but you can get three or more for the proce of one US unit, just replace every year or so when it starts making noises.

I tried a Superjack and there was play of 3 or 4 inches in it after only 9 months. A Venture model is still going strong after 6 years.

Thanks again for the info.
