Always the level headed one, enjoyed your contributions enormously, especially loved your trademark multicoloured sweater
RIP Mick

I wasn't as regular a viewer of Time Team as I could, or should have, been but whenever I did watch it he seemed, as you say, that he was the level headed one.

RIP Mick.

It is sad news as I used to watch every episode and looked forward to the double act he had with Tony Robinson. Always felt he had the ability to put his enthusiasm across and engage with the viewer. R.I.P Mick.
