Seems like you are mixing the sats up. Try to swap your Diseq settings.

That is because you are not picking up 19.2 east channels as there are no subscription channels on 12422 H on this frequency @ 19.2 east
Can you please name the subscription channels that you found.

OK what I did was a blind search for a frequency range of 12.400 - 12.550 GHz, horizontal only. It has picked up Sky Bundesliga, Sky Hits HD, Sky Sport News, MGM HD, Syfy HD, and Sky Sport News again, all from 12.454H, and none of which are listed by LyngSat (which lists subscrption channels as well as free ones). It also picked up a number of sports channels from 12.532H.

OK I am now doing another "Network Search", and the list of transponders has gone up yet again, from 111 to 118. I tried this a few times last night, but the number of transponders never exceeded 111. I have left the previous paragraph in place just to show how a blind search will not work as well as an ordinary search with "Network Search" switched on. This seems crazy, as one would expect a blind search to be more thorough. Before posting this message, I shall do another network search.

OK, a subsequent search has now picked up 120 transponders, but 12.422H still has not appeared among them. I should maybe wait for a clearer day, as today is quite cloudy.

I've checked them, and yes they are fine, with Astra showing up best on 2, HotBird best on 1.

According to Flysat the channels you are mentioning are on 12.304 H which would suggest that your LFO is not correct since you searched 12.400 upwards.

Yes it appears that my TM5402 has a frequency offset. I have repeated my previous searches but at a slightly higher frequency range (using blind search instead of network search), and have found some of the missing channels. I might have to repeat the process on several transponders to get the lot. The channels don't come through on the listed frequencies.

No need for individual frequence adjustment.
In your receiver you can set the LOFs (local oscilator frequencies) to suit the values of your LNB.

In this case I think you have a "universal LNB" with values 9750/10600 as @mickwig wrote.
In some receivers you just choose "universal LNB"; in others you have to set the values 9750 and 10600.

I guess your settings are 9750/10750 now; another (usual) LNB-setting. In that case your 'high' frequncies are 150 MHz off, as you wrote :).

----------------
If the configuration of the local oscillators are evil, right is 9750-10600, in doing blind searches can find almost all the look without looking (if the signal is clear good), but if you do a search by tp and marked the box ( RED), not work well not find the tp valid for the error of local oscillators (10600-10750 = 150), we have a 150 error in all tp's.
The search network reads information in the tp's that facilitates indicating the relationship of tp's used by the other channel provider, is easily if you want a tp manually with the active network box, you will see that after looking for other tp's automatically the tuner.

The blind search is flawed and can skip channels (care), even with good signal, with bad sign, is normal.

Tambien prefiero LNB's sueltos y un conmutador (DiSEqC), ajuste el jueves una antena de 80cm con un LNB y luego puse el monoblock (astra19-HotBird13), una diferencia brutal, malo como el solo.
-----------
I also prefer loose LNB and a switch (DiSEqC), set Thursday 80cm antenna with LNB and then put the monoblock (astra19-HotBird13), a brutal difference, bad as one.

Verifica como estan los osciladores locales en el sintonizador (9750-10600).
Realiza la busqueda de los tp's que buscas y quieres.
------------
Check as are the local oscillators in the tuner (9750-10600).
Searches for the tp's you are looking for and want.

Astra a 19'2ºE.- +1400 channel.
Hot Bird 13ºE.- +1900 channel.

I'd clear down the memory with a full factory reset (everything, video radio transponders) and start from scratch. The TM5402 can still fill up if the previous owner used it on a steerable system .

Incidentally where did it come from ? (not here I hope)

I bought the thing on ebay. it's actually working very well now. I've done some manual searches over wide frequency ranges and found transponders that wouldn't show up doing full satellite scans. All the WDR channels appeared several MHz higher up than stated on the official transponder list.

"official transponder list" where is this official coming from, and 100% up to date? Channels\freq., they change\move.

"channels appeared several MHz higher up", see Tururu's (and other posts) above, is the LNB configured properly, or is it 'evil' :O)
A normal universal lnb: Low band: 9.75 GHz, High band: 10.6 GHz.

Lyngsat and Flysat both list the Astra transponders as allocated by SES. I would have thought that made them the official transponder frequencies.

11343.500 ==> 11344 por ejemplo.
------------------------
If you do not answer the question: Settings LNB local oscillators, says nothing.
9750 and 10600. ???

When answering the question, we can help, while not easy, but if you look at the ball the answers.

Flysat better, it is simpler and is rounded tp the data.

Yes LNB Frequency is set to 9.75/10.6.

As I mentioned, despite the apparent offset, I now have all available channels in good quality. Thank you to all of you who gave advice.
