Looooongest day of the year(and the return of the Dark)

So, how do we celebrate it in Sweden I hear U ask.

We(some of us:)) start with a Champagne Breakfirst

Then we make love

After that we get the kids and go down to a local place where we sing and dance. Rise the Midsummer Pole. Have a beer or whatever and talk to our friends.

Later on we go back home and have a bit, Salomon, Herring meatballs and whatever we like.

I am sure I mentioned the Snaps ?
and beer

and some more snaps

after I dunno what we do, really

Seems to be in a misty way :-rofl2

But we do have fun, even if it´s pour

This weekend looks rather good, I think I will start now and here

Happy Midsummer to You, one and all:)

Sounds fun, here in Spain we have all night partys on the beach with bonfires, wine and beer and food is "on tap", and some people even swim in the sea at midnight. Quite surreal, but very very fun!!

No satellite stuff for the moment (aside from a 43cm minidish that was on the house already), Samsung SyncMaster T27B550 Smart TV & Monitor, and a few computers...

I think we'll be having a bonfire (consisting of most of my furniture!!!), and probably a bit to drink... :D

LOL, can't remember ever celebrating the longest day, shame really, but like supapete, looks like the only thing to be done today is watch the rain. :)

I guess if I was back into my twenties, I would partying, as that would have been happening every Saturday, regardless of the special occasion. :)

I think the closest I came to actually celebrating it, was when I was booked to go to Stockholm to meet up with Dig and a few others some time back, but couldn't go in the end due to a big job which had to be completed. :)
