Turner Broadcasting company will be closing down its CNX operations, which launched last year. CNX was started off as a channel for the male audience, however it will be repositioned from this coming Monday (8th September) with an emphasis on programming targeted at a young teen audience with cartoons such as X Men. Turner defended their decision to drop CNX, stating that the adult market was too "crowded and competitive". From Monday, CNX will be branded as Toonami and will be shifted from EPG 244 to EPG 621.
