Has anyone had any experience on using the above dish system? I am under the impression that they are available thoughout europe but not in Britain unless you do a mail order:rolleyes: . They appear to be popular when people want a multi-sat system but not one which is motorised.

They are not meant to be motorised as they have a broad spread of focusing through the antenna shape.

Having installed five, the only weak point appears to be the method of clamping the Az/El canister to the post thats supplied, only two bolts which can shear if overtightened.

And the instructions supplied arent the best

Given that the dish is fixed to the pole, how many LNB's have you installed on them and which satellites have been tuned in ?

What size's in dish have you been erecting and could they pick up Eutelsat W1, W2, W3, Sirius and Thor ? . These would be on top of Astra 1, Astra 2/Eurobird and Hotbird.

From London they all come in on the 1.2m toroidal, except Thor 3 (touch and go daytime) and Sirius Nordic (touch and go evening ) beam

(and I suppose the 16 East Madagasca beam if Im being pedantic)

You mention the 1.2m toroiadal dish, I thought they only came in 55 and 90cm size's under the frontier banner. Is this 1.2m dish made by another firm and if so have you got order by mail order from another country ?:confused

It was supplied by the customer with the name Force on it.

Measuring the dish gave a 1.2m width and a 1.1m height, it may have a smaller number on the box to avoid too much interest by the councils

WaveFrontier is the Korean manufacturer and quite possibly makes them for many suppliers wishing to put their name on the front.

How do you think the build quality of the dish are?

Is it much larger than a 90cm offset dish you think? or will it make a greater impact if i install it inside my balcony of my apartment?

I am considering the T90 or a Fibo 90cm gregorian dish with STAB motor.

The area of the dish determines the performance, its probably safe to assume the improvement would be directly proportional to the difference of the two dish sizes, so you will have to measure the width and height of the 90cm dishes you have stated

Not sure if its still possible to get hold of Fibo 90s.

I can get hold of a brand new FiboStöp 90cm dish with AZ/EL mount.

Is this guy going to get a good reception from Astra1 to Hispasat and who many LNB's has he got to remove to pick up Astra2 ?
