Hi all
God my head is done in so I hope someone can help
Until a few weeks ago I was able to get Multivison channels on my Humax 5400 using my 6 in 1 Funcard.
My dish started playing up but is ok now (free hotbird channels are fine)
However It appears the codes have changed during the 6 or so weeks my dish was faulty
I have tried the usual places and downloaded lots of 6 in 1 files to program on my VX Micro programmer but I cant get Multivision
Has anything changed in the last month or so.
If not what hex file can I use
If things have changed, what happened and what are my options.
Can I use my current setup to access TPS ?
Help gratefully received
Mick

TPScrypt AES key is changing every few days now.

The last AES key change was earlier today (13 May) - look for a file updated today and you should be ok.

But note you need the special Humax funcard file, the standard 6in1 files do not clear TPScrypt.

I think it should be preferable to change your receiver's firmware for a special one (no need for a card), who have EMUs embeded, particularly Via2 EMU.

For your receiver i think there is no problem.

excuse my ignorance but what is an AES key? I have a TEchnomate 1000ci and AES keys seem to have 16 characters whereas each key line on my box only has 8. Can this be got around?

It is for TPS Channels which are crypted by tpscrypt (a modified version of Viaccess).

This key contains 16 bytes instead of 8 and need, when the key has changed, a flash of a new firmware (if your firmware isn't very recent). That's why TPS change only this key 2 times a week at the moment.
