TPS / viaccess is upto something

today, 28th Nov.

2 transponders of TPS 11034 and 10834 started giving problems. yesterday 27th they changed S/R of 11034 from 29900 to 27500, and today this 11034 and 10834, both started freezing on some receivers, giving "stream error" on some, and some receivers are being halted.

original cards in TPS boxes or any other box works fine. fun cards, gold cards are the only ones being effected

this means TPS is upto something, and is checking the new system etc.
if thats the case, than X-mas will have a new gift and surprise

I have an Echostar 2110 2ci via and when i input the channel number for a TPS channel i get a black screen for a couple of seconds then the receiver goes back to the channel being viewed previously. Its certainly something i've never heard of before and could be a new way to end piracy using multi provider cards.

latest thinking is that this is a new line of defence against cards containing more than one provider. If you remove all idents and keys other than TPS from the card, then it should be ok (according to others' accounts - not tested myself).

Hi today I just heard the news that a new VIACCESS 2 encryption is to be launched in Jan'2001, at least for now TPS!!!!! I'm not too much into this but I read that it will have 2 keys instead of one!!!
I think you all know what this means right!!!!

have others tested by deleting other providers. Plus is it alright for you now?

In my case (Nokia 9600S + DVB 2000 + Red CAM 483 was the same when 481) only Barracuda 103 or 105 files works.
Do you know a way to get other files (those written RedCAM) working or to get in touch with Positive Angst or some one of his team ?

are you saying that those files don't work even for a single provider?
IE have you tested them as single-provider (by removing all idents & keys other than those for TPS)?

M1 and M3 the XXX chsannels after 00.00 clear as well. If you get a blank screen on the first showing of a movie it clears up on the next showing. As it is PPV I think TPS keep chaning codes for diferent start times.
I hope i've made sense.

Mind you I hope you get a chance to watch 'ANAL BUTT DIVAS' on these channels, it won Oscar Awards!!
