With an 88 cm dish I can track from 58W to 28.5E without problem. However the sats from 29 E onwards (Hellassat etc) I cannot get a sniff of. According to my charts, I should get reasonable signals here.

I am assuming that as I can see such a large section of the arc, then it cannot be loosing track due to incorrect vertical alignment. Perhaps it is a limit set on the motor (using a moteck)? Is there any way I can get to zoom in on these locations? I've tried without much luck so far.

1.2Mtr Polar MTG yes it has been on the arc for 25 years and is now fixed on 13 East using two pairs of rusty molegrips. Unlike me they never groan but always perform.

Most people would chew their arm off for 86 degree of arc think yourself lucky but it can oly be down to misalignment that you cannot receive the rest of the arc. Check your pole in all planes.

Can't be the motor, I am getting 58w to 53e in Germany with the same one, although with a 1.2 m. I am not sure about the dish size in your location, but 42 east should be possible as it has some strong transponders. See the strong transponder list in the forum.
