Transfer recordings from sky box to sky box

I suspect this may be an old chestnut but can not find it on previous posts. I want to upgrade the sky Plus box
but have lost of stuff on the existing on e. How can I transfer this to the new box

You also need to remember that Sky+ boxes are not long term archival devices - they are designed for timeshifting, not long term storage of programmes.
