Hi

I currently have a Humax Freesat HD 320 GB PVR. Over the last 12 months or so I have recorded about 22 Disney and Pixar films for our Grandchildren to watch when they stay with us.

If I but another Box for my daughter will I be able to copy all of the films from my box to the new box so that my Grandchildren can watch the films at their house?

Regards

John

Are they HD or SD?

If they're SD then they can be copied to to a pen drive inserted in the USB port. Be aware that there is limit of 4GB for the maximum file size that can be stored on a USB drive formatted in FAT32 although that would be a single programme of about 2 hours so not normally a problem.

If it's HD then you would need to remove the hard disc from the machine to clone the drive for the other machine as HD files can't be copied to a pen drive. The recordings are also apparently recorded encrypted so can't be simply copied when the hard drive is removed from the HDR.
