Looks like your motor is the correct way up...

not sure if its a relief or not, cos i still gotta get the arc, lol 3 months after i bought the bloody thing, actually make that 4 lol

Best t0 go back to basics - make sure the pole is perfectly (yes perfectly) vertical. Then the rest will fall into place.

Get the motor elevation set after checking your longitude and latitude.

Set it due South - tilt dish get best signal from Thor at 1 deg West and then pan E and W.

You probably know all this - for a more detailed run through do a search on setting up a motor.

Chances are the pole is not quite vertical - keep trying it's worth it!

Did you have to fit something similar to the curvy bit I pictured earlier inside the main bracket on the dish where I've marked no. 1?

Also, do you have anything like my box shaped bit inside the clamp, where I've marked no. 2?

Finally, do you have a nut and bolt passing through the whole bracket/LNB arm assembly at no. 3?

Just put my latest dish together. No instructions included. No instructions on Triax website. Works fine. Looks good.

Problem :-

I still have these spare parts!!!

Your answer is in here, the curved piece is at the top of where I pointed to in the picture,in the groove behind where the bracket fits ,so it dont compress the dish mount when you tighten the bolts up tight. You will have to take it apart to put the curved piece in.

The dish is still mounted on a tyre on the ground, so no probs opening it up to fit the bits.

@ john_graydon - I'd really appreciate the instructions as well if you have them, so I can be sure I put the two bits in up the right way I've also got a couple of bolts left over...

also those ties you got on the coax are too close to the coax fitting on the motor,they will flex the coax right at the connector and it wont last long that way. Let it hang down with a lot of slack at the motor end so when you move the motor it wont strain at the connector. Lnb end can be secured Got that?

the cables r on the bottom, but the dish certainly doesnt turn down as it moves from due south.

its not supposed to turn "down" as it moves FROM due south,it only turns down from the center position either way. it would turn up as it moves back to the center.
