With the new SFImage I can now switch EMU's and update keys via the internet.

Doing a blind search with the Fortecstar I can transfer up-to-date feeds to the TP instead of relying on its programmed TP's or third party lists.

Most sites dealing with the TD are frequented by the same posters at present and often consist of similar questions/answers, so in reality there's little info for owners new to the TD. This should (hopefully) change over time.

I'm very impressed by the picture quality and menu structure. Don't know how it compares with the Dreambox but it certainly beats other boxes I have.

Next up will be an HDD and Dragontail connector to enable use of a USB stick.

Actually they may be very good if you are a computer nut,but the reception performance in a fringe area, for Astra 2D is a disgrace for such an expensive piece of gear.
In fact I am thinking of giving the one i have to a deserving cause, the dustbin.

Hi
Dave you say that the picture quality for the astra 2d channels is not good.

I live in Southern Spain near Gibraltar and have at the moment a Kaon reciever with a 1.2m dish.

At the moment the ITV channels can only be viewed during the day and start breaking up at night.

The BBC channels are ok. I am thinking about buying a TD. Is there a problem viewing BBC channels on the TD?

Regards

The tuner on the TD,will not lock on any Astra 2D signal,I have a SAB/Kaon receiver and this has no problems finding the signals, and has a low threshold,
of about 40% signal quality.
So at the moment the TD is back in its box in the garage.
