Hi everybody!

I been trying to tune the transponders of Hispasat 30W and Panamsat 43W and been getting signals from them butas sonn as I tune the motor to the west or east on my receiver, the yellow and blue bar showing that there's signal appears but then disappears quicky. I dunno what to do because I really want to watch the spanish channels in there. It it the cable that needs to be changed or the receiver is acting bad?

please help!

Can you tune in any other sats like Sirius, Amos, anything really.
Have you followed the instructions on page 12 of your user's manual.

I had no problems getting Hispasat with my TM1000D, not tried Panamsat.
Also have you used the "fine tuning" tool.

I havent had any problems finding 5W and 4W.. I have been able to find some channels on 30W but whemever I try to get the signal of a tranponder, I would try to tune it and it would show that it gets the signal for a split second and then it would go back to red :-(. Also, whenever I'm saving the transponders found, the bars go back to red.

Hope this is of some help, as this is how I go about downloading a sat.
From menu go to "satellite setup" and fill in all the questions, then press Save.
Exit and go to "Motorized Setting" and find sat by using "Move" and if need be "Move Fine".
When level and quality have reached max press save.
Then press red button "Scan" for channels."

Best of Luck

That's the way to do it Rob.
To many newbies nowadays not reading their manuals.
