I can't find them either. I wasn't sure if they had moved transponder or if the encryption/keys had changed. Not got round to looking up the freqs yet. Has anyone else been watching them?

It isn't really VOD, just PPV. :)

Funny you should say that - they behave like them in aspect ratio on the SS1 as well.

Not to mention the horrible picture quality and sound. The aspect ratio should be changed to 16:9 to get a more "normal" image. The Lusomundo Channels are also very compressed in image but dosen't have the aspect ratio problem. The sound is a little better also.

Well in my opinion I don't think the picture quality and sound is that bad. I also have to change the TV screen on VOD channels. But heya m8's movies are not bad and unfortunately the package will be closed soon. Any specific date rato2 you know about. Heard it will be January 2006? Hopefully it will be open on N2 again shortly.

I'm sorry, I should be more specific.

On a CRT tube 32 in., the quality is o.k., assuming that it's on RGB output. Yes that I agree with you. But on a 42in. plasma screen you do see a big difference in picture quality(ex. from the VOD to the Fox & Fox Life channels, you can tell that there is a VERY big difference). I also compare for example Sky News channel on Eurobird with the Hispasat broadcast which is redirected & compressed! I know this is a subject that can go on because of tecnical jargon and opinions, but my appoligies!

TV C*bo is now reformulating everything again. Secure sources here in Portugal now say that the Nagra1 will only be shut off in late March of 2006.
The majority of subscribers are having technical difficultys with the new STB box, not to mention official cards that get whacked in their attacks by thier own software!

As i said the VOD channels looks crap and very much NTSC washed picture.

If you watch it on my 50" plasma you will see the differences, a 32" CRT is very tolerant with bad picture quality, even bad Divx movies looks great on that size....

TPS channels on Hotbird are the best i have ever seen when it comes to quality, Sky is pretty bad, however BBC and ITV are good.

Don't mention the Russian channels....

I see very interesting information from both of you. I still have a CRT and thinking of Plasma or LCD screen. 50 inch screen would be something and HD ready. Perhaps :-pachrist will bring me one. I don't have the money right now :-)
