It depends on the TV but you may be able to alter the settings in the menu. If it has autosetup and you just connected using the terrestrial aerial then it may have auto switched to B/G but again I am only guessing it is however worth checking and even experimenting
Thanks for all the replies guys! i´ve tried the sound menu with no luck, could it have anything to do with the cable ? I´m using the same kind as the one from the disk to the digibox
Just out of curiosity have you tried taking the portable over to the sky box and connecting using a scart then switching the TV to AV1, do you get sound then?
Can't see it being the cable Leanne, as the video and audio signal are sent to the TV in one lump (for want of a better description). It will either be the digibox malfunctioning, or the TV settings, have you got an English VCR there that you can check it with?
Connect the TVlink to the VCR input, then connect the VCR by scart to the TV and select the AV channel on the VCR. If you have sound via the scart connection, then at least you know that it is the audio setting on the TV.
