Noticed this a couple of days ago, the Polish international channel TVP Polonia has switched from SD to HD 1080i. Didn't require a re-scan so I think they've just made the video stream HD without changing any PIDs (it was already MPEG4).
It's nice that these international channels are gradually becoming HD, with an insight into different countries that doesn't just look like it's on VHS..
