I live in Bodrum Turkey, all of my BBC channels have gone, however İ can still watch channel 4 & 5. My satellite dish is 2.5 but not a new dish we tried to obtain BBC London on the new wave length how ever the strength was not strong enough. May upgrade to a new Laser dish.

Dish size for the BBC & ITV channels (Astra 2D) in western Turkey is going to be around 3.5m minimum.

Thanks for the info -any idea of how much a dish of this size would cost -looking to get other people in apt block to chip in if expensive

Depends on the dishes, if the Brymar one is cheap and nasty, you might as well spend the money on a Channel Matser 1.8, as you would probably achieve better results.
