Its up to you... if you want a better interface and remote??
I had the Octogan SX88 for multistream it was a bit too simple and not nice remote. I ended up giving the box away.
If you buy the mutant 51 all you have to do is load open pli via USB.
Then FTP over the files in the posted link. No fancy expertise required!
If you plan to record i would go with Mutant 51.
HI All,
I've finally got around to updating our system since the big satellite change for the Ukrainian channels. However, in Leicester, I can't seem to pick up the Euro beam from Astra 4a. All I keep getting is channels form Eutelsat 7E.
The confusing thing is, I'm trying to get to Astra 4a . 12073H and what I keep getting on scans are channels on Eutelsat 7 11221H, which is a little worrying as the frequencies are not even close.
Our setup is a Vu+ duo with a 165cm prime focus dish that we've been using for a few years.
Anybody else seen this scenario before?
Your LNB settings are incorrect. The difference in the frequencies you quote is nigh on 850 MHz, which just so happens to be the same difference as there is between the 9750 MHz Low Band and 10600 MHz High Band Local Oscillator frequencies used by a Universal LNB.
Dive into the menus and select the correct LNB type and that part of your problem will be resolved.
TRy aiming for 11766H on 5E. Thats a nice strong signal
Yeah European beam can be had on a Sky minidish. It's possible that the tree is in the way but if you're getting 7E, then 5E is just a couple of nudges westwards. Do make sure your LNB setting is correct and try a different one.
