Unable to receive channels from NSS 22w Satellite

My dish is fixed on NSS 7 22.0W. Am able to scan some frequencies like 11551/30000 V. But when I scan 11491/30000 V I get no channels. There are lots of channels on that frequency too. Can someone direct me on how to get more channels on 22.0W?

The transmission parameters seem to be the same for the two frequencies, and both are on the west Africa beam

The first thing to investigate is any local sources of interference that may be blotting out one frequency - for instance - do you have a digital (dect) phone? If so switch it off and unplug the base unit as well and see if that makes any difference.

sorry for late response. i had a power problem for the past three days but thank God i have power today.
back to the topic i dont have any digital phone in my house. and i still dont understand why i dont get channels from that frequency. is there anything else i can try?

According to KingofSat, they're not active frequencies, just occasional feeds. Can you still scan in anything anything on 11551V?

OK, checking Lyngsat I see 11511V is now on stream with the CanalSat Afrique package. Nothing there shown for 11491V, but as I am out of the footprint of the West Africa beam, I'm afraid I can't help you any further.

Anything that interferes with the signal path can block a frequency. As you have not filled out the system details fully we can only guess what equipment you have got, as regards dish and feedhorn lnb assembly etc. For example is there something nesting in the feedhorn? Is the cable damaged and ants now nesting in the cable. What grade of cable are you using, is the cable foam filled dielectric or airgap dielectric. Is there water ingress into the cable. Is there a WIFI repeater nearby More information required in order for someone to help you apart from the meagre information that has been given
