Hi!
Just to report about the unusual 2D footprint patterns I'm currently expiriencing. The signals from vertical transponders loud and clear from 9 am till midnight. Then they disappear but then the horizontal start to appear only to disappear around 9 am to be replaced with vertical. Why such a difference? Is it a dish problem?Or is it bloody fringe area and signal variations?

Firstly, where are you situated?

It's unlikely to be a dish problem, especially if you haven't had it before. The exceptions would obviously be if you have had some strong winds or builders, or something like that, near the dish but even then it would be extremely unusual damage that affected one polarisation over the other.

It's possiblethat you have an LNB problem. Trying another would confirm that.

Overall I think that (depending on where you are) it'll be a satellite peculiarity.
