The "miscellaneous" forum was somehow corrupt or not fully converted. Thread contents were displayed as the "author" ...
I have recovered this using the admin quick database rebuild on that forum.
Let's see if any more funnies tun up...

here's an unexpected "feature"...

there is now a max of 25 chars for the title of a post, apparently. Any longer and the post is not successful. What makes it particularly awkward is that a reply itself adds 4 characters to the title ("RE: " added to the front). So a title which is ok when originally posted can generate an error when someone tries to reply.

Can we remove this "feature" ?

i've set the subject to 40 chars now, if you need to change it you'll find it in Forum-level Style Settings.

Looking good Chris, have had to make several attempts to get the profile form to load though. It does load eventually though. Does the Signature allow for gif sigs?.

You may need to Refresh before the page will load correct, due to the old layout being stored in your cache.

No, you can't post any images to the message, but you can add a avatar image to your profile. to do this-

Click on User Menu -> Edit your profile. There are default avatars availble which can be accessed by clicking on following images link. To use your own, simply enter the image url of your avatar in the textbox. You do not need to use img src html tags, just the url. eg. http://www.mywebsite.net/myavatar.gif
