In my rush to update the latest k*ys using Peter Pan image I cannot connect to their auto update site.

It's down just now (confirmed on other boards) so what do I try?

Let's change the image - bad idea, managed to trash the box so bad it needed a null modem job I have to do this at a PC as this house is Mac only.

Have it back up with an old PP image, still unable to update images etc from box (XML error) have to wait until they fix the update site.

So all you lucky chaps watching 30+ extra channels on hotbird - have fun.

P.S. Replaced my two week old dish (turned out to be only 80cm) and put up a 1 meter one today.

What did you not like about the hydra image, or were you just exploring.

I now have the hydra image loaded and set up. PP still wouldn't update - web site down I think.

The Hydra images is OK but the PP image was a lot more stable.

With PP you get a signal from the start but Hydra you have to find a sat blind before the signal is locked to find the other sats.

Hydra has also deleted sats that have been stored for no reason - PP never did that in the weeks I used it.

Must have spent hours finding and listing sats and then deleting and starting again with images.

Llama sat listing programme uploaded to Virtual PC but then it crashed.

Hydra has a listings plug in which appeared to make no difference at all - loaded all sats I wanted but failed to see anything i didn't have before.

Dish has possibly had its final tweek today - don't know about anyone else but I always think I can get just a bit more signal.

If I just loosen that bolt a bit - and tip it more - then move it back - now is that stronger? Or was it better before?
