Just tried to start a thread and upload photo's. They appeared to upload but I got a 'site not responding message' instead. Using Chrome and I haven't tried Firefox. Think there's been similar problems since last night.

Edit: OK, I think it may have been Expatshield, I disabled it and all was ok........don't panic Mr.Mainwaring.....

Saw the apparent problem with Firefox on another Thread and believe it's being looked at - although I use the latest Firefox and don't seem to have the problem.

Was experimenting this morning before I went out and couldn't get Firefox to finish a photo upload (just had a message saying waiting for response from satellites.co.uk), but have had no problems with Chrome.

Using Windows XP sp2 with AVG Internet security, will see if it's the AVG, but I doubt it.

And here's one just under 1MB, at an upload speed of no more than 0.16 Mbps

That's my setup too, no problems using Firefox 12 yesterday or today.

Here's a pic just under 1mb.

Not a browser I use, got fed up with it ages ago, but still cannot upload a photo, even after turning off my antivirus and firewall. May be a combination of things, but no go here.

I have no problem using Chrome or Rockmelt, these are my every day browsers, just Firefox which I don't normally use, even tried it on my other forum and firefox doesn't upload on that one either (both vbulletin).

Rockmelt is a version of Chrome, but with RSS reader and Facebook built in.

Safari also fine as per picture below, but there is obviously a problem for some with Firefox, will be interesting to see if there are any other forum members experiencing it. Bear in mind that not everyone uploads to forums, so may not be aware.

I'll wait till it goes a golden yellow then a kind farmer comes along with a combine 'arvester and clears the lot.

Edit: @Tivù, just in case you need it in June, a combine harvester is "la moissonneuse-batteuse"

Shouldn't think so - we asked Hertz for a vehicle in the lowest Band - I suspect any upgrade wouldn't stretch too far.
