urent!!! help!! two lnb on one dish

ok I have been trying get this sorted all day but no luck the problem is
I have 1meter dish pointing on arabsat 26degree east digtal is working fine
so I bought a twin lnb holder same as this one

so i was able to pickup astra 19 degree east using another lnb placed on the lnb
holder apart from that am unable to get anyting else I need to point it at hotbird but
is not seems to pick it up so did anyone of guys managed to get both Hotbird 13° East
Arabsat 26 East on a single dish if yes can you please explain how to do this that will help alot

So which is the lnb that is picking up 26E is it fitted on the right in the picture?. How are you connecting your 2nd lnb? to the stb?
What elevation have you introduced on the 2nd lnb?, it should not be horizontal with the other

That holder should do it, 19E will be about halfway there, is there enough left on the bracket to slide out for 13 E?

the lnb that is picking arabsat is already fixed to the dish so am trying to pickup hotbird using the lnb holder by adding one lnb while my dish currently
pointing on arabsat am using a DiSEqC switch to link the two lnb to the reciever however am unble to get hotbird on the other lnb i was able to get
astra but not hotbird so am i doing samthing wrong here

yes there is which way do i move it left are right i was able to get astra by moving it left
am thinking of buying a satellite meter

I do not think so, you just need to move the lnb further towards the end of the bracket as Rolf says i.e. further away from the primary lnb

You move it further away, by about the same again.


PS. You will also need to bend the bracket downwards slightly to allow for the difference in elevation of the satellites.

yes I already did may be the lnb need to be moved up and down but it does
no let you do that which satellite meter is good for digital

You move it down by bending the bracket.

I will try that tomorrow if it does not work I will just install another dish
and use it for hotbird

I also have 1.8 meter dish which I don,t use anymore LoL!!!!!
