Hi there!

I'm looking into buying a SKY digibox.
It's actually very urgent, as I need to bring it with me to Denmark on Wednesday.
I've been looking on www.digibox.net, and I found these three digibox, all cost £85.

PACE 2200
PANASONIC TU-DSB20
GRUNDIG GDS200

Which one should I go for?
My Dad wants to watch ARY Digital, and the free channels (BBC, ITV, Channel 4 + 5)

I've been told not to buy the old Amstrad box.

Is £85 the average price?

Hope someone please can help me ASAP, as it's veeeeeeery urgent.

Cheers!

I would personally go for the panasonic and its probably best for fringe reception. As for price, that seems OK.

Thanx for the answer. Very quick reply.

I've got one more question.

I just called ARY Digital, and they told me that if I want to watch their channel through a out-of-contract digibox, I would have to register the box with SKY.
The women from ARY which I spoke to, said that the box had to be registered with SKY, otherwise they wouldn't be able to send the signal out to the box, when I received the viewing card.
She also told me that she thought it would be free to register the box with SKY.

Then I called SKY, and they said that if I wanted to register with SKY, I had to subscribe to the minimum package.

Is that really true?

Do I have to subscribe BOTH to ARY Digital and SKY?

It may be that as Sky administrate the system, they insist on a minimum package. As with CH, I have no experience of this channel.
