well trying to install it !

hi there have just purchased a DG relook 200

it has has come with a power supply on for the US , can some 1 please help can i just change the plug to a UK 3 prong plug .

can some 1 please advise.

i bougt an old telves box and just cut it off and repluged it all was fine m8

If it says at the back of the receiver only 110-120v you need a power converter or you will blow your receiver.

No satellite stuff for the moment (aside from a 43cm minidish that was on the house already), Samsung SyncMaster T27B550 Smart TV & Monitor, and a few computers...

You really need a stepdown converter. Plug it into 230v and BOOM!

make them an offer got it delivered for 60...

have yet to set it up yet though! cause of the plug situation....:-doh2

to follow up on the plug socket situation - opened up the box the resistor is for 250 v so the USA DG station will allow for UK type plug -

have just replaced with UK plug and all has powered on

just to let u know.

Just to let you know,

I cut the plug of my usa box and replaced it with a uk one. Mutant has been working fine for a couple of weeks.

One word of warning, I found my box did not have the socket for the Jtag and I had to solder one on.
