Hi all been a while since I have posted after a bit of advice
I moved house recently in October and have spent the last four months in hell, anyway my newly stripped back to the brick 1950's house is looking swell
I have not watched any tv for four months and had a rather unfortunate incident which killed my appetite for all things satellite related
Now I decided to temporarily set up my 1.5 gibby on a floor mounted pole last week drilled into a levelish flag silly me been pissing in the wind ever since
Good news signals initially all good in the back of the garden just not on an uneven temp setup
Now my question I have some lengths of 76mm tube lying around, I was planning to use a 2.5m length for example and go half way into the ground and set it using postcrete, now looking at Channel Master installation diagrams they show a piece of rebar through the tube I take it this is to stop the tube spinning?
This installation could be classed as semi temporary/permanent maybe just a test run
Will this all end in tears and will I be wasting my time?
