I now have an Elvis programmer and have attempted to program a card, I think I have connected properly and installed software etc, followed the instructions I think, when I insert my goldcard into my phillips box a banner comes up at the top saying 'it is not possible to validate your card please call blah blah blah' any help or advise please, where am i going wrong??

Which Channels are you trying to watch?...
When you have a problem like this it's a good idea to try as many different hex files as possible. Some work better than others depending on your combination of reciver and CAM.

When you have found one that works remember which one it is for future or edit the codes each month.
