[QUOTE="johnsattuk, post: 370484, member: 183150"] Hi Baxter As I said in my origional post some weeks ago, I am willing to help any fellow enthusiast who wants to mod. his motor in a similar fashion. :) Just to clarify my position a little. :-rofl2 I have been retired a number of years and this is just one of my hobbies. I do not have or want any commercial dealings other than to cover my origional costs and P&P. Whilst not doing DIY kits, I will, if able, provide bits, info, whatever :D The only extra bits required are a magnet/s and a reed switch. I can :- Let you have reed switches and magnets Exchange your gear wheel for a drilled one. (You may well be able to drill your own, but requires a bit of care (soft brass teeth) and some engineering equipment. ) As I said in orig. post can use single or double magnets. Double magnets give more precision, but not all positioners can handle the freq. and/or total count. My V-Box II has no problems. I also drill a couple of extra holes to help c/balance this fast revolving gear with it's origional slot. Modify your motor for you I do have spare motors and could exchange a complete motor. The mods. do not change anything to prevent a return to the origional optical sensor, though I don't see any reasons for wanting to. Please let me know what, if any, action you would like to persue.
