i was hoping is someone could tell me if it was possible of me to view bsky in pakistan

what size dish would i need?
receiver?

Technomate 5402 HD M2 Ci, DM7000s, Transparent 80cm Dish, Moteck SG2100 DiseqC motor, lots of legacy gear. Meters: Satlook Digital NIT, Promax HD Ranger+ spectrum analyser.

No, the only way you could do it would be to host a slingbox in the UK and have a good broadband connection in Pakistan.

The reason that you cannot receive them is that the satellite signals are not pointing in the direction of Pakistan, designed to serve the UK market. You may, with a huge dish probably 5m plus, pick up a few channels on the Southern and fixed beams, but I haven't seen any reports.

You will have no chance with the BBC and ITV channels, as they are on a very restricted beam.
