Is this right if I set my reciever to hotbird or hispasat depending on what one I want to pick up, If i get someone to watch the reception bar they will be able to see as I hit the satellite as I turn it? I'm on astra 19.2 at the moment.

It's possible, not very likely especially from Hispasat which is at 30 west.
Do yourself a favour and get yourself a nice cheap little "satellite finder".
Or better still if you have a mate with one, use his. :D

I haven't seen this one so can't really say, but it may well be alright.
