want to upgrade firmware on dsr9500a em via

hi guys
I have been looking everywhere to get a proper patch for my receiver samsung dsr 9500a em via but it seems it doesn't work at all
i have tried the semco it doesn't seem to make any connection to my receiver. so i tried to upload the firmware through hyperterminal but there was an unrequested error that happen and the receiver reboot by itself and abort the whole operation. I tried to look in my receiver to jtag it but the circuit board doesn't look like the one they show in the explanation files in the jtag.
so please anyone who can help me or any advice are welcome
i desperately want to get that sort out as soon as possible before i bin the receiver.

hate to point you off this, the bestest satellite forum in the world, but you might get more specific help with your model @ http://papagen.sat-key.org/BB2 - samsung receivers forum. i am not sure whether you can patch you model. 9500 via ci is the one most people play with.
