I was wondering if any one out there has a old Ku band elbow suitable to fit a Chaparral Corotor . It can be from a old corotor or just a simple Ku band elbow .
I look forward to hearing from you .

I supplied one as part of a complete OMT unit to g host a few weeks back, shipped to Romania.

Will look for a picture tonight, but they are polished metal rather than painted.

A fiver to you, plus about £1.40 to post, I 'll have to check the price of a signature if you want one. Annoyingly they are just over the 3cm limit in all dimensions

Many Thanks CH does that need any screws or o rings I wonder ? Yes please let me know I just want to get this project finished other wise it means bolting the Ku Lnb straight onto the corotor flange . I would use my old one but I think the corrosion is far to bad to salvage it .

Next problem after all the fun and games with the size of SMW LNB O ring and screws I only hope your Elbow fits the corotor and LNB . I would have thought WR75 is standard flange , O ring and Screw size . We now now from speaking with SMW the LNB has a O-Ring dimension of 26.7x1.78 mm +
Mounting screws are: 4pcs M4 x 10mm (MM screws) Polished metal is fine as long as it fits . I look forward to seeing the pictures .

I can include the screws that bolt it to the OMT that it would normally come with.

Let me check on signature tomorrow but if £7.20 total inc P+P sounds OK with you I will take it to the post office and get signed for anyway.
You did have issue with anything other than Paypal so use the wife's account .

I'll need your address of course, if different to where the Precision dish is.

Regards

Stephen

Many Thanks CH well the sooner I get the Elbow the sooner the wife gets her garden back and she get off my case . Once I have found a replacement C band LNB for the replacement corotor its just a case of playing with the feed for max signal and job done . As for the old corotor not sure if I can do any thing with that due to corrosion .

If any one wants that free Ku Lnb I got the other day drop me a PM and I will post it to you as it no good to me .

I'll be sending it out tomorrow, if there isn't the usual 40+ queue at the Post Office.

I have found a couple of o-rings as well as some spare bolts that might be useful

Will provide the tracking detail when I get back in the evening.

Good luck with anything coming via Hermes! -
I received emails from them this morning to say that a package would be delivered between 12.00 and 16.00, and as we knew that we might not have returned from shopping by 12.00, I placed a message on the Hermes tracking site to tell the courier to deliver to my friend in the house across the street from us if we were not in.

We actually returned home at around 11.35, and then I got Hermes messages stating that the package HAD been delivered at 10.52 (thus whilst we were out shopping) and no card was left through the door, and so I contacted my friend - but he confirmed that he had not received the package for me!

I also checked the house next door to us and they had not received it either - and so I have ABSOLULTELY NO IDEA as to which house the package has been delivered!

Yes, I gave up with the Post Office queue earlier so put it on the sub1kg service with Hermes. I added 8 screws and one o ring that would form part of the OMT, though the elbow does not contain the grooves

The package should fit through a standard letter box, just.

Yes its very small and very light but Hermes has a history of breaking things but there ok with a reel of Andrews LDF-450 but any other thing . Yes I would think the Elbow should fit through the letter box . Yes SMW are sending me a O ring and screw set all I need is a O ring for the corotor end so if you have a O ring for that end of the elbow we are cooking on gas . As for the replacement C band LNB I think thats going to be from europe since nothing available in the UK .

Yes I have heard the same Jeallen01 there drivers put things any were from Sheds , Bins on the door stop its a hit and run raid and on to the next .

Finally found the package - by the front side door and behind a raised flowerbed, and thus not easily seen from the front door itself!

Hi Guys well the Elbow just arrived I had to be fast as the Hermes guy left it on the door step and ran !

So the good news is yes it fits the waveguide is at a different angle but it should work next problem is the Elbow is all male so there is no O ring slot so will have to put some gasket sealant between the 2 faces .

Option 2

Drill out the threads on the corotor flange and bolt the LNB straight onto the corotor .

Your thoughts are welcome .
