What angle from the satellite dish do objects (tree's/buildings) block signal

I am looking to move my motorised satellite dish to a less wind exposed position on my roof. THe problem is the new location has a building that blocks roughly 30 degree angle from the bottom (horozontally). (I can do a proper measurement in the morning).

Therefore, Im wondering how high up the satellites (arc) are in the sky and what angle (assuming horozentally is 0) needs to be free before signal begins to be blocked.

I read somewhere that it is 44 degrees?

Thanks for that answer and link, that is a really good diagram :) for 19e

I did hope that they where further .... up!

Looking at my location -

Directly facing south, 1 West is the highest at 29 degrees and then the angle decreases as you move the motor east or west with 22E/22W being around 21 degrees as the arc comes down. Atleast I have a good idea how much line of sight I need.

If you have a smart phone download the dishpointer app - it will tell you where the satellites are in more or less real time updates as you move around.

You need to remember that your offset dish may be almost vertical however the signal arrives as per the diagram
