So what did you think of the Christmas & New Year tv schedules on the main channels this year?? The dogs whotsits, or a bad year all round.

This ones running for a fortnight from 30/12 as we dont want it hanging around too long...

If theres an option missing you really want , DONT vote, post something here, and one of the mods will add it if its valid.

In which case we need a 'No concern of mine - too busy with the Clarke Belt' tick box :)

You should have an option for 'didn't get a chance to watch anything'

I now have thousand of channels and spend less time watching them that when I had four...

Damn right. I watched Eastenders on Christmas day, and that was only 'cos my parents were over. Don't really watch "terra-telly" at all.

The Internet is the new TV, and no stinking licence fee. Sir Tim B-L is my God.....and Gianfranco Zola is his big brother.

Why put the idea in their heads?

That'll be next - you bet.

Yep, with NDeeS encrypted streaming, it'll work a bit like mp3 downloading I guess.

By the time the muppets have worked out how to licence it, we'll be over the hills and off on the next techno-wave...

Sad Christmas indeed, blaming the parents is tantamount to signing the confession in your own blood though :ch1

I did see a report today (cannot find it again, senility)has kikked in) that stated that during this holiday period more non-terrestrial TV links were watched than traditional terrestrial TV links.

From that I deduce that more people watched "god knows how many rubbish channels" from Ruperts domain, than the conventional 5 analogue channels/30 DTT channels via a normal aerial.

If this is the case, god help us all.:ny

or it could mean Freeview channels that are on satellite have been accepted as a decent alternative to terrestrial based reception.

There are plenty out there that would tick the 'SKY' option when they are simply viewing anything off an egg shaped dish
