what is a dream box

hi can anyone help i have been told about a sat box called a dream box,how does this work ,does it realy pick up alot more chanels ,can you get american tv. i have the full package of sky hd but have heard that you have to pay £15 a month,is this true and were would you get such a system and what one would you recommend thanks for your help disco

The Dreambox is just another receiver the same as any other.

It will open encrypted channels if used with a valid subscriber card the same as any other receiver.

It can only allow you watch channels that it can receive from the dish.

You cannot get any American sats with it as they are all below the horizon for the UK.

The Dreambox is not a magical box which opens everything.

If you look in the Dreambox General section you will find everything you need to know about these receivers. Have a good read then ask questions later.
