Stranger Things, Just binged watched this Netflix series over 3 nights only 8 episodes but with a 9.2 imdb score it will give you that 80's mix of ET,Poltergiest with a little bit of alien and stephen king thrown in as well as a Synth score opening theme and soundtrack

Yep moi aussi..

really enjoyed it..

I was thinking we could name him as Executive Producer...
Good idea. Please prepare the contract.
I am going to ask Granny tonight (séance session) for her approval and maybe get few ideas, after all if it wasn't for her bed activities I wouldn't be typing this now.

Slowly working my way through all the episodes of Doctor Who and spinoffs from the very first (including reconstructions of all the missing episodes - most with original soundtrack) over 900 episodes in all. Next in line will be the audio books, stageplays etc - looks to be over 800 of them. Should fill my spare time for the rest of the year.

Imho the new dads army film is the biggest load of tripe I have ever come across.

Just glad I didn't pay for it (it was a present)

Having enjoyed the Michael Connelly books, I was keen to see what Amazon Prime did with Bosch. A bit dour at times but worth a look.

Much to my embarrasment, I must admit that I hardly ever get to watch tv.

Last series episode I saw was a Danish cooking programme last week "Spise med Price" (or "Dining with Price") hosted by the two brothers Price.
Although most of it will be gibberish to non-Danish speakers, they do do unconventional things once in a while (which may be enjoyed by non-native danes even though the dialogue is gobbledegook).
For example, observe them preparing and enjoying "Tartar Hotdog" at 23:05 (the cooking begins at 19:52).

Prior to that I think I managed to watch a full episode of QI off the HDD of my FoxSat while vacationing at the summer cottage three weeks ago.

Rather boring viewing habits, I'm afraid.

Incredulation for your sheer stamina, but sympathy for your perseverence at the same time.

Whatever it takes to reach the minimum quota of "quality time" with the missus.

The question remains though, are you a masochist when not on holiday ?

In general no.
But if you mean the second sentence in a correlationary way to the first ("are you *also* a masochist when not on holiday"), then the answer could be "yes", as I also watch the odd QI episode when I am not on holiday.

'Odd' is the obvious link, but don't press the button in front of you.

Jealous! I do enjoy my work but it's getting towards the time for me to go. I hope that you retired in normal circumstances and not for medical reasons though.

No it was redundacy with a decent package so I took early retirement (53) with a reasonable pension. However spent the first 12 years as a full time carer for my late father who was still reasonably capable.

Recently started watching Outcast ...
Intriguing ..
I honestly thought this was yer basic God Squad Gothic horror ...
Nope ...there is more to it ...
Bit of a slow burner but well acted and featuring Brent Spiner and Philip Glenister ..
So thats where he went ...not time travelled back to the 70s afterall..
;)
