Can you advise me on the best type of receiver I will need for receivng Satellite TV from the former Yugoslavia states (asked this before but still lost). Most receivers I have seen are classed as Sky Receivers. Is there a restriction on these that stop me from using it for the former Yugoslavian purpose. Finally, for this area is analogue or digital the best?

The sky receiver would work ok but you would only be able to store about 50 channels on it. I currently am using a technomate 5500 and it is supposed to be a good tuner for fringe areas. As long as you have got a big enough dish, I think you should be ok.

I have been using a Technomate 5500 CIP with a 1224 H-H for the last month and think that its a great setup, pity about the bad manual though!
